The scheme was built by Urban Landscape Design Ltd with the enthusiastic collaboration of the FED and won the APL Commercial Garden award 2018.

The field survey works revealed some interesting finds, such as relict medieval field systems in the village of Croft and a little-known battlefield site at Red Bank, Winwick.
